A prediction is not automatically a best bet.
Diamond Forecast is designed to distinguish model opinion from betting eligibility. A team can remain the predicted winner while the game is withheld from Best Bets because the confidence, data quality or available market price does not clear the qualification gate.
Probability first
The production model generates its probability before sportsbook pricing is considered. This protects the forecast from simply mirroring the betting market.
Qualification gates
Data completeness, model confidence, calibration evidence and price eligibility can all affect whether a forecast is promoted into a Best Bet or parlay-eligible leg.
No forced ticket requirement
The architecture can represent an insufficient qualified set rather than inventing filler legs solely because a user interface expects a three-, four- or five-leg ticket.
Important: Diamond Forecast publishes probabilities and model analysis, not guarantees. Sports outcomes contain real uncertainty. Qualified picks and parlays can lose, and users should never wager money they cannot afford to lose.
