Privacy and account-data handling at Diamond Forecast.
Diamond Forecast uses account information to provide member access and service features. Passwords are stored as salted hashes rather than readable passwords, and payment credentials are handled by PayPal rather than stored by Diamond Forecast.
Account security
Member passwords are verified using salted password hashes. Session cookies are used for signed-in access. Diamond Forecast does not need or store your PayPal password, card PIN or online-banking password.
Payment processing
Premium subscription approval is completed on PayPal. Diamond Forecast receives subscription status needed to manage access but does not collect or store the payment credentials you enter on PayPal.
Service and analytics data
The service may record technical request, performance, prediction, grading and account events needed to operate the application, troubleshoot failures, improve models and understand site usage. Sensitive form contents are not written to the normal web performance log.
